A plane of the Amiri Air Force of the Qatari Armed Forces arrived at Rafic Hariri International Airport on Wednesday, carrying 70 tonnes of foodstuffs. The new shipment of food aid was provided by Qatar to the army of the Lebanese Republic. In July, Qatar announced that it would support the Lebanese army with 70 tonnes of foodstuffs per month for a year, as part of its efforts to support the Lebanese Republic and stand by the Lebanese people.
