Qatar Museums on Tuesday reopened the iconic Museum of Islamic Art, following a year-long facilities enhancement project and the reimagination and reinstallation of its permanent collection galleries, in addition to inaugurating the Flag Plaza. Chairperson of Qatar Museums HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani said: “The Flag Plaza is a comprehensive symbol of the diverse community that we welcome in Qatar, and of the deep ties that emanate from the interaction between cultures.” (TNN) page 2
