Al Sadd’s players and officials celebrate after being crowned champions of the Qatar Basketball Federation (QBF) Men’s League for a second time in the club’s history. Al Sadd beat Al Gharafa 83-64 in the best-of-three final 2-1 final play-off at Al Gharafa Club Hall on Tuesday. Al Sadd beat Al Gharafa 82-62 in the first round while Al Gharafa won 83-77 in the second to force the decider. The match was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the honorary president of Qatar Basketball Federation, Mohammed Saad Al Mughaisib, President, QBF, Saadoun Sabah Al Kuwari, Secretary-General, QBF, Nabil Abdul Rahim Abu Issa, Abdullah Sultan Al Jaber, members of the federation, and Turki Al Ali, General-Manager Al Sadd.
