The Amiri Guard School celebrated on Wednesday the graduation of the Amiri Guard’s advanced course for officers No. 11 and the junior staff course for officers No. 9 at Barzan Camp, in the presence of Commander of the Amiri Guard Staff Lieutenant-General Hazza bin Khalil Al Shahwani.
The Deputy Commander of the Amiri Guard, the Commander of the Qatar Amiri Air Force, and several Amiri Guard and Armed Forces officers attended the graduation ceremony.
At the outset of the ceremony, Commander of the Amiri Guard School Brigadier General Ali Arahma Al Muraikhi confirmed that the school is always keen on developing training methods to raise and enhance the capabilities of the course trainees to carry out their duties to the fullest. He explained that the junior staff course qualifies officers to work efficiently and competently in leadership positions in their groups. It also gives them scientific experience in terms of analysis, conclusion, solving military dilemmas, estimating situations and preparing studies.
Regarding the advanced course of the Amiri Guard for officers, he explained that the focus was on qualifying its trainees to work as company commanders in their groups, and they were trained on several topics that concluded with the implementation of the four-day ‘‘Al Juhd Al Mosmer 5’’ drill.
After reviewing the general report of the courses, the Commander of the Amiri Guard honoured the graduates, congratulated them and urged them for effort and perseverance, and then took memorial photos with them.
