The Amiri Naval Forces inaugurated the Qatari warship Smaisma of the corvette type in Milan, Italy. Brigadier-General Rashid Ali Al Qashouti, acting commander of the Emiri Air Defence Forces, and Admiral Ricardo Marchio, commander of the Italian Navy’s counter- and mine forces, inaugurated the Qatari warship. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Ambassador of Qatar to Italy HE Khalid bin Youssef Al Sada, Qatari Military Attaché to Italy Major-General (Navy) Hilal Ali Al Mohannadi and a number of officers of the Qatari and Italian armed forces.
