As a part of the staff recreational programme, MES Indian School hosted a Fun Day for the staff of the administrative section on March 27 at the Conference Hall of the school.
The day was filled with activities, competitions, singing and fun. The day commenced with the reciting of Holy Qur’an verses by KP Aboobacker, immigration assistant. This was followed by a keynote address by Mohammed Rashid, head of Admin & Facilities and Radhakrishnan, chief accountant. MES Indian School.
"Every moment of life should be enjoyed well, irrespective of the challenges that we face at different phases of life,” said Hameeda Kadar, principal, in her keynote address.
Musical chairs, lemon & spoon, needle & thread, pick & run, blow & burst, changing cups, ball race, and bombing the city etc, were some of the activities conducted to mark the day.
A felicitation ceremony was held in the evening. School staff were awarded with ‘WOW’ certificates in recognition of their professional contribution towards the school, while the winners of various competitions were felicitated with prizes and certificates by Hameeda Kadar.
A lucky draw was also conducted and participation certificates were issued to all participants for their active participation. Abraham Samson, in-charge, Students Affairs Department, welcomed the gathering while Salma, secretary to the Governing Board, delivered the vote of thanks.
