Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) started its first Ramadan Sports Festival activities last Wednesday, which included 8 different sports events for sports fans from all members of community.
Ramadan Sports Festival opened with the first-ever men’s beach volleyball tournament on the Aspire Sand pitch at Aspire Park and the opening of women’s basketball and women’s volleyball at the Ladies sport hall
AZF facilities continuing for 8 team competitions at Aspire Park, The Dome and Ladies Sport Hall. Started on April 6th till the 17th from 9:30 pm to 12:00 am, the events are as follows:
Beach Volleyball Competition for men: 6 -10 April, Aspire Sand pitch
Football competition for Men: 9 – 13 April, warm up track
Basketball competition for Men: 12-17 April, Aspire Dome, Multi-purpose Hall
Football 4x4 competition for men :13 -17 April, Aspire football Public courts
Ladies competitions in cooperation with Sports Lab Academy:
Basketball competition for women: 6 -14 April, Ladies sport hall
Volleyball competition for women: 6-12 April, Ladies sport hall
Football competition for women: 9-14 April, Ladies sport hall
Special Needs competition in cooperation with Qatar Paralympic Committee:
Special Needs Table Tennis Competition 11 April, Aspire Dome, Multi-purpose Hall 1
The event sponsors by, Lulu Hypermarket, Vodafone Qatar, Suhail Group Holding, Sports Lab Academy and Oryx sports management.
