Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani witnessed Wednesday morning the ceremony held on the occasion of World Teacher's Day at the Sheraton Doha Hotel.
During the ceremony, HE Prime Minister honored 72 teachers, including four school principals, praising on this occasion the pivotal role of everyone in creating generations and raising children.
Also, the ceremony included the playing of the national anthem by the children of the Scout and Guide Association of Qatar, in addition to the screening of a documentary film that included letters of thanks, appreciation and gratitude from school students to teachers.
HE Minister of Education and Higher Education Buthaina bint Ali Al Nuaimi and a number of senior officials and directors of departments at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education attended the ceremony. It was also attended by a number of Their Excellencies members of the Executive Council of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States and guests of the ceremony.
