The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs has warned against the Israeli entity’s continuation of its steps aimed at changing the historical and legal status quo at Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.
The ministry said that the imposition of temporal and spatial division on the holy Haram of Al-Quds represents a dangerous escalation and a condemnable and violation of the international law and the responsibilities of Israel as the occupying power.
In a statement, Haitham Abu Al Ful stressed that Israel bears full responsibility for the serious consequences of this escalation, which undermines all efforts made to maintain the comprehensive calm and prevent the escalation of violence that threatens security and peace. (QNA)
