After the successful operation of Spice and Sizzle Restaurant at Midmac Roundabout, Punjab Restaurant in Musheireb area, and Zaoq & Ziafat, a premium dining restaurant at Ezdan Mall in Al Gharafa, well-known Pakistani entrepreneur Jamshaid Iqbal Bhatti, inaugurated Punjab Restaurant Express at food court of Ezdan Mall, Al-Wakrah.
“We have the pleasure to inaugurate the second branch of Punjab Restaurant at Ezdan Mall, Al-Wakrah to cater to the culinary needs of residents of Al Wakra and Al Wukair. We have plans in pipeline to open more branches at different locations including one at Al Khor soon,” said CEO Zeeshan Bhatti, the eldest son of Jamshaid Iqbal Bhatti.
“We are known for the delicious serving of authentic Pakistani and Mughlai cuisine. We are in the culinary business to pursue our passion and not just to make money. We are determined to serve the finest taste without compromising on the quality. We have handpicked a new team of finest chefs and support staff from different cities of Pakistan,” he added.
Director Operations Farhan Jamshaid Bhatti and GM Punjab Group of Restaurants Behazad Saleem Ali Khan were also present during the opening ceremony.
Jamshaid Bhatti, who is chairman of group of restaurants (Punjab, Spice & Sizzle and Zaoq & Ziafat), arrived in Qatar in 1967. His primary business is related to construction and transportation. He has been in business for more than four decades and has successfully prospered and spread it all over the country. Jamshaid is assisted by his two sons, Zeeshan Bhatti and Farhan Bhatti, in running different business houses.
Zeeshan’s grandfather Haji Mohammad Tufail arrived in Doha in 1955 and set up Al Fardan Exchange and later Al Sadd Exchange. “My grandfather has the honour of establishing the first Pakistani school in Doha where my grandmother, Ulfat Shehnaz, served as principal,” added Zeeshan.
