A unique celebration of Europe Day will take place at the Opera House of Katara Cultural Village on May 28. For this special occasion, the French and German embassies in Qatar and Katara Opera House, in cooperation with the Institut Français, are organising a concert as homage to Europe.
On this unique occasion, the unity of Europe, the French presidency of the EU, and the strong relationship between Germany and France represented through this collaboration, will be highlighted through the skillful work of the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra (QPO) and the talented conductor David Niemann.
Through the rich programme, the orchestra will be conducted by David Niemann and will play eleven pieces that represent many European countries. Together, we will celebrate the richness of European music, as a point of unity for cultures across the world. The programme offers not only works of famous composers such as Wagner and Berlioz, but also technical pieces from Liszt such as “Hungarian Rhapsody”. The one and-a-half-hour concert will take place on 28 May at 7.30 p.m. Please find the registration link below:
