The largest and most comprehensive knowledge sharing platform in Qatar’s construction sector — Project Qatar- is returning for its 18th edition, in person in Doha, on June 6. It will go on until June 9 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
This year, Metito, a world leader and provider of sustainable water management solutions, has been announced as the “Gold Sponsor”. It is set to lead the agenda and discussions on sustainable water projects and water security.
Over the last 17 years, Project Qatar has gathered experts and thought leaders from around the world to share and highlight best practices, learnings, and success stories. This year, it will be the event’s official come back after a couple of years restrictions due to the COVID 19 pandemic, and the sponsors and endorsers’ line up promises a truly engaging, high level event.

Metito is now operating Qatar South under Catchment Zonal framework Contract that includes the full operation and maintenance of PWA collective sewer infrastructure assets which compromises of managing 3 major systems ( Foul Sewer System including Doha South STW , Industrial area STW, Packaged Treatment Plants and over 50 pumping stations, Surface Ground Water System including networks, pumping stations, tunnels and outfalls and Treated Water System which includes the irrigation network feeding to farms and landscaping in prestigious areas). Metito is also the developer behind the Pearl Qatar SWRO desalination plant 35,000 m3/day; the Lusail pumping stations with a capacity of 600,000 m3/day, and the new STP for the New Doha International Airport.
