Qatar University (QU) has jumped sixteen places in the QS World University Rankings for the year 2023 to reach the rank of 208, up from rank of 224 in the 2022 edition. The university also received the Internationalization Award from the QS Foundation at a ceremony held recently at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. QU President Dr Hassan bin Rashid Al Derham said, "We are very proud of the remarkable progress made by Qatar University in the World University Rankings for the year 2023 and in receiving the Internationalization Award.” He added, "The university is making concerted efforts to continuously develop and achieve global impact and an international research network, and it is great to be recognized internationally for these tireless efforts.” page 12
