Podar Pearl School recently held an investiture ceremony for its newly appointed student council for both the West Bay and Meshaf campuses.
Dr Swati Popat Vats, president of Podar Education Network, the chief guest on the occasion, presented the badges to the prefectorial body members. The function was also attended by directors PP Faisal, CM Nizar, Asharaf Madathil, PP Anwar and Pranav Pradeep.
Simi Suresh Kumar, West Bay Campus headmistress and Manjari Recriwal, principal, administered the oath of office. The head boy and head girl of both campuses, in their acceptance speeches, reiterated their commitment to taking the school to greater heights along with their teams.
Addressing the students and parents, Dr Swati encouraged them to imbibe the values and ideals that enable them to become true global citizens. The event also showcased the talent of the students with a wonderful rendition by the school choir and scintillating dances by students of both campuses.
