A session on women’s health and hygiene was organised by the Science Department on Olive International School’s (OIS) Umm Slal Ali campus, under the guidance of Principal Jacob Mathew. The initiative aimed to educate girl students about mental, physical and psychological changes during adolescence and puberty.
The programme, led by Dr Manasa Vijayan and assisted by Nasrin Asif, included an interactive session with students on puberty, health and biological development in women, followed by a questionnaire session. Tips on healthy, hydrated, calm and composed life were the highlights of the session.
The session was very informative and beneficial for the physical and moral development of young students, said Principal Jacob
Mathew.
