Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ has announced temporary closure of a lane north bound Al Shamal Road on Al Gharrafa bridge (known as immigration bridge), to carry out emergency repairs on the bridge.
During the closure, the number of lanes on Al Gharrafa bridge will be reduced from three to two lanes for those heading from Doha to the North using 22 February Street.
Ashghal has advised all road users to use the alternative routes to avoid congestion at Al Gharrafa interchange, as shown in the attached map.
Ashghal has requested all road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
