His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met with President of the Republic of Namibia Hage Geingob, and the accompanying delegation, at the Amiri Diwan on Monday. The Namibian president is in the country to participate in the Qatar Economic Forum 2022. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and the ways of developing them in various fields, especially investment and energy, in addition to discussing a number of regional and international issues of common concern. The meeting was attended by Chief of Amiri Diwan HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Minister of State for Energy Affairs HE Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs HE Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi. On the Namibian side, the meeting was attended by Minister of Mines and Energy Tom Alweendo and Minister of Finance Ipumbu Shiimi. (QNA)
