Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar (CMU-Q), a Qatar Foundation partner university, welcomed six new faculty members for the new academic year.
The new faculty members are Mohammad Aazam, assistant teaching professor, information systems; Cristian Dimitriu, visiting associate professor, philosophy; Madhavi K. Ganapathiraju, visiting associate teaching professor, computational biology, computer science; Maher Hakim, distinguished career professor, business administration; Mazen Sidani, visiting assistant teaching professor, biological sciences; and Anthony Weston, associate teaching professor, mathematics.
CMU-Q offers undergraduate programmes in biological sciences, business administration, computer science and information systems.
Faculty members in the arts and sciences teach mandatory and elective courses in a variety of fields.
