His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived in Astana on Tuesday on a state visit to Kazakhstan. HH the Amir and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival at Astana International Airport by President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. HH the Amir and the accompanying delegation were also welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mukhtar Tileuberdi, Special Envoy of the President of Kazakhstan for International Cooperation Erzhan Kazykhan, Mayor of Astana Altai Kolginov, Ambassador of Qatar to Kazakhstan HE Abdulaziz bin Sultan Al Rumaihi, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Qatar Arman Issagaliyev, and members of the diplomatic corps at the Qatari embassy.
