Deputy Emir His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad al Thani met Defence Minister of the French Republic Jean-Yves Le Drian and his accompanying delegation on the occasion of their visit to the country, at the Emiri Diwan office in Doha on Tuesday. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them, and discussed a number of topics of common interest. HH the Deputy Emir also met Ambassador of Morocco to Qatar HE Al Makki Kawan, on the occasion of the end of his tenure in Qatar. During the meeting, HH the Deputy Emir presented the outgoing Ambassador with the Sash of Merit in recognition of his role in enhancing ties between Qatar and his country, wishing him success in his future assignments and further progress and prosperity in the bilateral relations.
