Addressing the gathering, Qatar University President Dr Hassan Rashid al Derham expressed his pride in witnessing the students graduate. He said it was a celebration and proud recognition of the value of education in Qatar.
“The Qatari society aspires to achieve an advanced status among other nations, and will never forget the role of a mother who raises her young ones, the sister who struggles for her siblings and the daughter who aspires to a prosperous future.”
Derham said the graduation ceremony was a testament to the importance Qatar places on its daughters.
