Replica for winning team
An almost finished replica of the FIFA World Cup trophy, for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, is pictured at the Italian trophy and medal manufacturer GDE Bertoni on October 12, 2022 in Paderno Dugnano, north of Milan. While the original 18 carat gold trophy made by Italian artist Silvio Gazzaniga belongs to FIFA and is rarely exhibited, the GDE Bertoni factory is still tasked with producing brass gold-plated replicas of the trophy every four years for the winning team.
