THE Police College received its third batch of students on Saturday.
The new batch was welcomed by Director of Training Department Captain Fahad Saeed al Sobaie, Third Company Commander Capt Jassim Abdullah al Khater and other officers and commanders.
The students entered the College with military parade trainers and were divided into four groups. Subsequently, they were given obligatory instructions to be followed by them in their"new life at the College".
Captain Fahad al Sobaie said the College had made all necessary preparations to receive the third batch. He added the life of a student at the College is entirely different from the one that he had before.
"Here students learn how to organise their time and how to deal with other military rankers and seniors as well as other military related subjects," he said.
Captain Sobaie further said,"The students will receive training in several military and sports programmes under the supervision of trained professionals during their stay at the College. The students will be under the watchful eyes of training faculties and supervisors at the gyms, in the barracks, during prayers and in the fields of military training and at the academic building. The students will have to strictly follow the time-table given to them at all these places."
He stated the College has adopted the best and the most advanced global methods of military training, adding,"The Police College students have demonstrated their talent on several occasions such as the National Day parade and during the opening ceremony of the Police College."
"The Police College of Qatar is working in cooperation with Chinese and American agencies. We are also working on a cooperation agreement with China in police and military training," he concluded.
