Vodafone has launched two postpaid plans for the small office/home office (SOHO) segment. Promoted as Ready Business, it offers several benefits, including bonus international minutes for every hour of received calls and a personalised ring-back tone.
According to Vodafone's research, SOHOs in Qatar make up approximately 70% of all registered businesses, employing fewer than nine people in a wide range of small companies such as retail shops, pharmacies, and limousine services.
Vodafone said the Ready Business was tailor-made to meet the specific needs of such businesses, so that it enables them to enhance their operations.
One of the benefits in the plan ” ring-back tone that doubles up as an advertisement ” is new in Qatar for SOHOs. It replaces a standard ringing sound with a business product or service advertisement.
This can be applied on all Ready Business connections in any language and can boost business sales by giving customers relevant information that currently many SOHO businesses do not provide, Vodafone said in a statement.
Also for the first time, Ready Business customers will get free international minutes based on received calls. For instance, if a business's incoming call minutes reaches 60, whether locally or internationally, it will get up to 30 free international minutes.
"We spent a lot of time speaking to SOHO company owners to understand exactly what they needed from their telecommunications provider to grow and improve their operations. Vodafone Ready Business gives SOHO companies in Qatar the support they deserve with our most value-added plan just for them," said Mahmud Awad, Vodafone business services director in Qatar.
