Ambassador of China to Qatar HE Zhou Jian has described the speech of the Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani at the inauguration of the Shura Council ordinary session as “informative and inspiring”, summarising Qatar’s prides and achievements over the past year under the leadership of HH the Amir.
The Chinese envoy said, “We congratulate Qatar for its fruitful outcome in economic and social development, appreciate Qatar’s unique role in international affairs, including the Afghan issues, and express our full confidence for Qatar in delivering a splendid FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.”
The Chinese envoy said that HH the Amir’s remarks also highlighted the newly inaugurated Al-Kharsaah Solar Energy project, built by Chinese company in Qatar. “The project is a symbol of China and Qatar’s joint commitments to green development. We are looking forward to new fruits and progress in bilateral cooperation in all fields,” Jian said.
