South Indian actor Mohanlal, a celebrated legend in the Malayalam film industry, will arrive in Qatar on Sunday "to add a dollop of excitement to the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022," according to Indian media.
Malayalam news website onmanorama.com said the actor would headline an event organised by the Indian Sports Centre, an apex body under the aegis of the Embassy of India, and Olive Suno Radio Network.
A four-minute music video album will be unveiled at the event, 'Mohanlal's Salutation to Qatar'.
The event will be held at the Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel.
