The Pakistan International School–Qatar (PIS-Q) organised a colourful award ceremony to honour the toppers of the SSC-I and SSC-II annual examinations conducted by the Islamabad-based Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.A total of 40 students scored A1 grade in the SSC annual examination

held in 2022 and 55 students who brought glory to the institution with their brilliant performance were honoured on the occasion.Maryam Mubeen came first in the Science group with 1,068 marks.

In the Humanities group, Amna Ghulam Rahim bagged the first position with 1,007 marks. In Science group, the second position was clinched by Maheen Fatima who scored 1,062 marks while Zainab Mohammad Ijaz came second in the Humanities group with 1,003 marks. Habib Khan secured third position in Science group with 1,059 marks. Salwa Nooram Khan came third in Humanities group with 1,002 marks.

Samar Zaib, Asheeys Saeed, Malika Hashim, Rehab Ahsan, Marwa Ahmed, Muzammil Muhammad, Ali Hussnain, Momina Moazzam, Hakeemat Opeyemi, Muhammad Adil, Abdul Rehman Asim, Khadija Yousaf, Khadija Mansoor, Bashaer Ali, Umer Aman and Hasna Iqbal were honoured with certificates for their participation in the two-day Model United Nations (MUN) conference at Georgetown University. Maryam Omar won certificate for outstanding diplomacy in special political and decolonisation committee while Rushba Zaib was awarded with a certificate for honourable mention in the commission on status of women.

PISQ Principal Nargis Raza Otho congratulated the students and their parents for their efforts in bringing laurels for the institution.
