Oman will offer a free 60-day multiple-entry visa to holders of the Hayya Card, a fan ID issued by Qatar to people who have purchased a match ticket for the FIFA World Cup 2022.
The visa can further be extended twice through the e-visa website, the Royal Oman Police has said.
Hayya Card holders can be accompanied by first-degree relatives to stay in Oman.
The visa can also be changed to another category while in the Sultanate as per the applicable rules.
The Royal Oman Police has announced that it would open the application submission process for visas to World Cup fans to enter Oman, and would provide those holding a Hayya Card with a convenient and exceptional experience.
A festival for football fans will also be organised at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center in the capital Muscat from Nov. 20 to Dec. 18, 2022 as part of the Sultanate of Omans program accompanying the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
Visitors to the festival will be on a date with the excitement and festive atmosphere of the World Cup, enjoying live streaming of all the matches and many exciting events and activities.
The festival will present a variety of programs, including artistic performances, interactive games, exciting competitions, in addition to prizes and incentives for visitors. The festival will also include an area dedicated to local and international restaurants and cafes serving great meals that cater to all tastes.
