Vehicular access to Doha Corniche will be restricted beginning November 1 in order to keep the scenic promenade optimized for pedestrians during the FIFA World Cup 2022.
"Starting Tuesday, November 1st to December 19th, the Doha Corniche will be dedicated to pedestrians in preparation for the FIFA World Cup," the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy said in a tweet on Friday.
Private car users commuting through Doha Corniche will have to switch to the bus, metro, taxi, or rideshare. Below are the various means of transportation to reach Central Doha.Taxi & RidesharePick-up and drop-off zones
