Several face-to-face state court proceedings will be suspended for at least two weeks, under an order issued on Saturday aimed at curbing the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
This is in “the interest of everyone's safety, and after coordination with the relevant authorities in the country,” an official statement said.
However, judges will attend to urgent cases and new dates will be assigned for the adjourned hearings, the statement added.
The Court of Cassation will continue its sessions on the dates specified in advance, the statement said.
