The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) is setting up a 150-bed field hospital in Qatar as part of its efforts to stem the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19).
In an infographic tweeted by Ashghal on Saturday, it said the hospital will have all the required equipment and supplies to deal with Covid-19 cases.
Similarly, Ashghal is also setting up an 8,000-bed shaded facility to assist the public healthcare system deal with the coronavirus situation.
Ashghal has also implemented a slew of measures within its offices and work sites to reduce the chancees of disease transmissions, including reducing its workforce physically present in offices to 20 percent and providing medical masks to workers and obliging them to wear them.
It has also banned the number of people using elevators in its officers to four at a time and installed thermal cameras in workers' accommodations to monitor their body temperatures.
