Tribune News NetworkDohaTen more nationals have been booked for violating the home-quarantine pledge they undertook as part of efforts to contain the spread of coronavius (COVID-19) in Qatar, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said on Tuesday.Qatar had approved home isolation as a second option for families returning to the country from abroad, provided they sign a pledge to remain under self-quarantine for a prescribed period.The violators are:1- Ahmed Salem Ahmed Saleh al Bakri2- Ahmed Rweiki Ghorban al Quqaqi al Ruwaili3- Abdullah Ali Rashid Ali al Ghreenayq4- Jaber Ayed Salem Khijim al Athba5- Abdulaziz Ismail Youssef Nasser al Nasser6- Faisal Abdullah Muhammad al Sheikh al Kuwari7- Ali Ahmed Munsar al Hamad8- Abdul Rahman Khalid Abdullah al Ghanem al Maadeed9- Abdullah Ayed Khijim al Athra al Marri10- Faisal Rashid Hamad Alayyan al MarriThe MoPH statement said people violating these conditions will face penalties in accordance with the provisions of Article (253) of the Penal Code No (11) of 2004, and the provisions of Law No (17) of 1990, regarding the prevention of infectious diseases, and Law No (17) of 2002 on protecting society. The relevant authorities in Qatar called on citizens and residents of the domestic quarantine to strictly adhere to the requirements set by the Ministry of Public Health to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
