The body will include representatives from the Ministry of Interior (MoI), Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MoLSA), Ministry of Economy and Commerce (MEC) and Qatar Chamber.
The institution will serve as the umbrella body for the recruitment of workers from abroad. All the recruitment agencies will be operating under that institution.
During a meeting with businessmen and members of Qatar Chamber, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al Thani suggested the establishment of such an institution to solve recruitment problems faced by companies and individuals.
He directed that a study be conducted for the establishment of the institution, according to a report in Al Watan.
