Tribune News NetworkDohaQatar helped around 1 million people get home via the Qatar Airways amid the coronavirus pandemic, some through regular flights and some through special evacuation flights, Supreme Committee for Crisis Management Spokesperson Lolwah al Khater has said.In an interview with Al-Arabi TV, Khater, who is also the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, said the evacuated people include 100,000 Britishers, 70,000Germans, 45,000 French and thousands of people belonging to other European countries.The Qatar Airways has also avacuated United Nations staff stuck in Iraq.
