The General Directorate of Traffic on Thursday continued its campaign to raise awareness among motorists of safe practices to ward off coronavirus, with its safety mascot ‘Noni’ lending a friendly face to the campaign.
With an ever-present smile and braided ponytails, Noni’s primary objective is to engage children in vehicles at traffic checkpoints. While the traffic personnel remind drivers of the importance of using gloves and masks in reducing the risk of COVID-19 transmission, Noni tries to make the children understand it through positive and friendly interactions.
As part of the campaign, the traffic personnel also distributed masks and gloves to drivers at traffic checkpoints.
