Metro carries record 220,000 passengers on Friday

Qatar Rail has announced that Doha Metro carried 220,000 passengers in 10 hours on Friday. "This marks the highest average ridership per hour in our history, while maintaining the highest safety and performance levels,” said Qatar Rail in a tweet. The huge crowd on the Doha Metro was due to the Bollywood Music Festival being held at the Lusail Stadium as well as the Darb Lusail Festival. (TNN)
