3,556 tonnes of home-grown vegetables sold through Qatar agricultural yards in April

Around 3,556 tonnes of fresh locally-cultivated vegetables, 847 tonnes of fruits and 16.5 tonnes of fish were sold through the various agricultural yards in Qatar, including Al Mazrua, Al Khor, Al Thakhira, Al Wakra, Al Shamal and Al Shahaniya.
The yards also recorded sales of 2,396 sheep and goats, 1,516 tonnes of poultry, 3,442 eggs and 310 kilo natural local honey last month.
The yards work seven days a week during the holy month of Ramadan from seven in the evening until 12 at night.
