Minister of Environment and Climate Change HE Sheikh Dr Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al Thani on Sunday met with Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Inger Andersen, on the sidelines of the 27th Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 27), at Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
The minister also met with head of the delegation of Sweden to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Mattias Frumerie.
During the two meetings, they reviewed bilateral relations in the fields of environment and climate change, stressing the importance of considering the effects of climate change and its repercussions on the whole world.
