As the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is at the doorstep with a stellar line-up of teams from across the world, the region’s leading retailer Lulu Group has opened three convenience stores this week in metro stations based at Lusail, National Museum, and Ras Bu Abboud in final preparation for the launch of the FIFA tournament.

These stores offer a wide range of local and international ‘food to go’ ranges to serve locals and visitors from across the world using the nation’s metro system. Lulu will ensure an uninterrupted supply of high-quality products with excellent customer service for the ease of visitors. They have arranged additional stock and snacks and beverages, anticipating the season’s demand from now onwards for two months.

One more hypermarket measuring 10,750 sqm with ample car parking was opened on Wednesday at Barwa Madinatna with a view to extending service to the FIFA World Cup 2022 guests and to the local community. This project is situated amidst an integrated residential city in the Al Wakra District with the latest smart city technologies, for families to provide quality living for its residents.

The development that meets the highest standards and specifications, required by the local market for residential units for families also comprises amenities such as Local Retails, Central Retail, Kindergartens, Small Clubhouses, Main Clubhouse, Daily Mosques, Friday Mosque, Substations, Primary Substation, Waseef Building, and Sewage Treatment Plant.

In addition, a major hypermarket at Giardino, The Pearl Qatar, is in pipeline and ready to be functional by next week, to immediately address the inevitable surging wave of football mania.

Throughout the FIFA tournament, Lulu will continue to serve the public with its comprehensive network of stores to make the World Cup guests feel at home and to solidify its commitment to providing the best customer experience.

Lulu, which now operates 19 state-of-the-art outlets in Qatar, is committed to opening more outlets ahead of the FIFA tournament including the opening of its new hypermarket and department store at Giardino Mall on The Pearl Qatar on November 16th, which alongside this will include full e-commerce and rapid bike delivery services.

Recently, Lulu Group has doubled its e-commerce capacity, and express bike delivery services in other Lulu branches as well namely B-Ring Road, Ezdan Oasis, Lusail City, Al Hilal, Barwa City, Bin Mahmoud, Abu Sidra, and Lulu Center, Al Rayyan Road.
