Starting on Monday, public transportation buses in Qatar will operate on all routes from 4 am to midnight, the country's integrated transport network Sila has announced.
"All Karwa Bus routes now operate from 4 AM till 12 AM daily, except for bus routes L533 and T612, which operate 24/7," Sila said in a tweet on Monday.
L533 is a circular service to the Hamad International Airport via Matar Qadeem, while T612 connects Industrial Area with the Hamad International Airport.
Doha Metro has also extended its operational hours for FIFA World Cup. From November 11 to December 20, the Metro will run from 6 am to 3 am, Saturday to Thursday, and from 9 am to 3 am on Friday.
During this period, the general public can enter any carriage of Doha Metro as the Gold and Family class has been suspended to deal with the World Cup rush.
