Minister of Labour HE Dr Ali bin Saeed bin Smaikh Al Marri has affirmed that FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will be an exceptional tournament, and everyone- including World Cup guests, will enjoy the activities of Qatar’s National Day, which coincides with this unique global sporting event, and its rich program specially prepared to impress football fans around the world.
The minister said the hosting of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 is a historic global sporting event that is being held for the first time in the Middle East and the Arab world.
He said Qatar’s preparation for the World Cup will make it a unique and exceptional tournament.
The minister noted that with the start of the World Cup in Qatar, which has captured the attention of people globally, Qatar is now the centre of world’s attention. Qatar is now a destination for fans from different countries to enjoy the most popular international sporting event in the world- the FIFA World Cup.
