Qatar Red Crescent honoured Abdullah al Baker, the owner of DoubleTree by Hilton Doha Old Town, following the successful Ramadan Iftar campaign partnership with the hotel.
DoubleTree by Hilton Doha partnered Qatar Red Crescent by supplying 9,000 Iftar meals for municipality workers in the Industrial Area during the Holy Month of Ramadan. The hotel team, led by General Manager Chris Muth and Sales and Marketing Director Rania Agag, distributed water and dates to the workers.
The team also brought joy to the hearts of 3,000 visitors to the Grand Mosque by distributing water and dates to the families and children during Iftar time.
Baker expressed his gratitude for the initiative which strengthens the partnership between Qatar Red Crescent and the hotel within its social responsibility framework. He personally supports the community through a comprehensive strategy, dependent on executing events and activities that serve the society and raise awareness on the importance of social and charity work.
DoubleTree by Hilton is defined by its unique culture of CARE, which stands for 'Create A Rewarding Experience' for guests, team members and the community.
