A FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 promotional song sung by Jassie Gift, an Indian film music composer and playback singer, has turned into a beautiful narration of Qatar’s journey to FIFA.

Jassie Gift has an excellent track record in South Indian music industry and his compositions have a huge number of fans. The song, which is full of the spirit of football and is essentially a celebration of the game, has already been viewed by a large number of people.

The video was shot in Qatar with the beautiful city landscape forming the backdrop. The shoot locations included Souq Waqif, Aspire, Katara and surroundings of different FIFA World Cup stadiums. It has also highlighted the makeover of Doha in the last few years.

Speaking to Qatar Tribune, Gift said: “Most of the participants who appear in the video or have worked behind the scenes in this song were students of Ideal Indian School. Qatar is like a home country for us and a global event here feels like something is happening in our own heart.”

To mark the beautiful memory of the school campus, the song titled ‘Nenjum Konde’ (With Heart) was launched at the old campus of Ideal Indian School recently. Later, the song was shared with 2,022 people in social media. The launch ceremony was attended by the alumni of the Ideal Indian School in Doha.

Rameez Azeez is the director of the video. Others who were part of the production team were Haida (producer), Vyshak (director of photography), Junaid Muhammed (music), Harry (lyrics), Jayshankar (editor), Arif Backer (animation) and Niyas Yusuf, (project designer).
