His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani participated in the Executive Summit of the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA), chaired by its President Gianni Infantino, at the Fairmont Doha Hotel on Sunday.
At the beginning of the summit, a film showing glimpses of the history of the FIFA World Cup tournaments was shown. Then, Infantino delivered a speech in which he welcomed the attendees and congratulated Qatar on the approaching start of the tournament.
HH the Amir delivered a speech in which he welcomed the attendance of FIFA officials, heads of national football federations and legends of the game, wishing them success in the work of the summit.
After that, HH the Amir received a souvenir from the FIFA president on the occasion of the summit.
The summit was attended by His Highness Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Personal Representative of the Amir, and a number of senior officials in the country and national football federations.
