“Yallah Yallah Qatar,” a beautiful fan song for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, was recently released by Saira Joyce Mascarenhas. In Arabic, Yallah Yallah means “Let’s Go”.
The song, which is available in both Arabic and English, has a fine blend of Western and Indian music flavours that invites everyone to join in on the fun. The phrase “Let’s Go Qatar” in the song’s title and lyrics has a deeper meaning.
Saira, the song’s lyricist, told Qatar
Tribune about the song’s inspiration. “When it was announced that Qatar had won the bid to host the FIFA World Cup, I was inspired to perform a song in their honour. This song pays tribute to Qatar while also congratulating the country on hosting the FIFA World Cup in 2022. Without Jacksal Lional Pinto, Shawn Kenith Crasto, Sharon Asiligwa, Joseph Fernandes, and Cletus Mendonsa, I would not have been able to complete this song.”
“I’ve worked very hard on the song to be at an international level,” she said of the song. This song is very meaningful to me. Get up and let it go, it’s time to show the world, take a step and roar, ‘Yallah Yallah Qatar’. I’ve taken a step toward making a roar, and I want my song to be known all over the world.”
Saira Joyce Mascarenhas provided the main vocals for the song, which was released on November 17, 2022. “LiG” did the Hindi rap, and “Deepak Hanson Pinto,” “Havenatik,” and “Shuelace” did the music composition and production.
“The song was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Vinayak Pawar (Sound Ideaz studios Mumbai), and the cinematographer is Shishir Shetty,” she explained. Joy D costa was instrumental in the videography. My entire team is from India.”
Saira, who has lived in Qatar for 27 years, said she has seen significant growth in the country and praised Qatar’s Amir, His Highness Sheikh Tamin bin Hamad Al Thani, for hosting the World Cup.
“I have seen Qatar grow dramatically, and the growth is unrivalled. Congratulations to the Amir of Qatar, and I am proud to say that I have witnessed significant changes in this country. The streets and buildings are stunning, and there is no other country as beautiful as Qatar. I’d also like to congratulate everyone who has submitted a song for the World Cup 2022.”
Saira added that the Qatar World Cup 2022 has brought joy to all Qataris and people around the world. I cordially invite all international fans to come and enjoy this beautiful country as well as the FIFA World Cup 2022.
Netizens have praised the song. On Thursday, the official video was released.
