Today (Sunday) Katara will culminate its activities accompanying the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 with a special celebration that it has prepared for its fans and visitors on the occasion of Qatar National Day which depicts the most wonderful meanings of pride, pride and cohesion between the people and the leadership.

The Cultural Village Foundation Katara records the visits of a number of their excellencies, ambassadors and senior guests of the country. On Friday, His Excellency the Professor met with His Highness Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Farhan Al Saud, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and took him on a tour around the Katara Traditional Dhow Festival, during which he learned about the various sections and the various heritage products they offer.

The Katara amphitheater also witnessed a great turnout for a lecture - Unity, Hope and Humanity: Reflections by Professor Noman Ali Khan and Sheikh Siraj Wahaj.

The open air theater will host tonight a concert by the well-known artist and vocalist Maher Zain, known for his committed songs and wonderful performance.

The activities of Katara accompanying the Qatar World Cup 2022 have continued amid praise and admiration of the World Cup guests given the impressive cultural and heritage events that lasted for nearly a month, attracting attention and introducing them to Qatari culture, heritage, values and traditions.

The World Cup guests pointed out that their visit to Katara and their viewing of its distinguished activities allowed them to learn about the authentic Arab and Islamic culture and its noble values, in addition to acquainting them with the cultures of the world in one place through a rich program that reflects the cultural and artistic diversity of the participating countries. Katara’s halls are the cultures of the world which it has established its position as a beacon of art and creativity and a center of civilizational radiation from which the lustre of Qatari heritage and the lights of Arab culture emanate to the world.

Eduardo from Brazil expressed his happiness at visiting the Katara Cultural Village, expressing his great admiration for the spacious place, the facilities, good organization and the hospitality, in addition to the various festivals, events and activities that Katara held in its corridors, squares, halls and theatres, indicating that he did not expect to see this. The elegance in amazing and high-quality events that blend fun, entertainment, suspense, education and knowledge.

Tania from Ukraine expressed her great happiness with the events presented by Katara, her great admiration for the cultural neighbourhood, which presented the world with Qatari culture in its best and finest forms and forms, adding: “I was very pleased to visit the cultural neighbourhood, the wonderful place that presents a clear, comprehensive and intense picture about Qatar its culture, heritage and arts.”

Matthew from England described Katara as an ideal place to spend the most beautiful times because it contains stunning views that combine green nature and blue water embodied in the Katara hills and Katara beach, stressing that he found Katara a happy haven that provides all the luxury, comfort and pleasure for visitors and guests. He praised the good organization, high-end services and high-level Qatari hospitality provided by individuals with a high degree of kindness, generosity, courtesy and sophistication.

For his part, Abdul Karim Arab, residing in Austria, expressed his admiration for the Katara Mosque, which he described as the ‘most beautiful mosque’ in Qatar. “We appreciated the activities launched by Katara in various languages of the world, which enhanced cultural awareness of the tolerance of Islam and its lofty message,” he said.
