Askar, owned by Mohammed Nasser Al Nuaimi, stood out by winning an exciting feature for Purebred Arabians (Handicap 75-95) to claim the Muaither Cup in the 22nd Race Meeting of Qatar Racing & Equestrian Club (QREC) on Thursday. The Hadi Al Ramzani-trained horse was saddled by Ibrahim Nader, and beat colt Issa of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani at the post. Sayyad of Al-Ghazali Stud finished third.
