Tribune News NetworkDohaThe Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has decided to raise the maximum number of people allowed to attend weddings to 120 in open places (outdoors) and to 80 indoors.There’s been a limit on the number of people allowed in weddings due to coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.The ministry emphasised the need for commitment to implement all preventive measures such as wearing of masks and keeping a safe distance and activating the Ehteraz application.The MoPH thanked citizens and residents for their effective contribution and praised their efforts to combat COVID-19, and their commitment to implementing preventive measures, which helped limit the spread of the virus in society.The ministry affirmed that decisions to lift more restrictions imposed or not depends mainly on the extent of community implementation and commitment to the precautionary measures.
