Qatar Customs foils attempt to smuggle drug pills hidden in shoes

Tribune News NetworkDohaThe Air Cargo and Private Airports Customs in Qatar has foiled an attempt to smuggle banned narcotic pills into Qatar. 

The pills were recovered from within a shoe inside a personal cargo, the  customs authority said on Twitter on Monday. The authorities seized a total of 17 pills.
