Authorities in Qatar have taken action against people who were seen catching a flock of birds in a video that has gone viral on social media.
The Minister of Interior in coordination with the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (Baladiya) initiated the action. Authorities seized tools used to catch the birds from the individuals and referred them to prosecution for legal action.
In the video being circulated online, a man can be seen hurling a net on top of what appears to be a loft of pigeons, trapping some inside, as a sedan pulls over next to the person.
